Pressurized Mound Septic System

If your site requires a pump tank along with certified fill then a pressurized mound is our preferred installation. These systems are designed to disperse gray water equally throughout the entire raised mound. They are an excellent design and will require a smaller footprint compared to most conventional raised bed systems.

Installation of Pressurized Mound Systems begin with a certified sieve analysis of the approved fill material. We then follow the approved County stamped engineered plan by plowing the existing soil. The approved fill material (certified sand) will then be placed and compacted in lifts to attain the proper percolation rate. The Engineer will visit the site to certify the fill placement and confirm the rate of percolation. Next we excavate the center section and install stone with piping. The entire system will be inspected by the County along with the pump run showing confirmation of the proper spray pattern. Once inspected we will install fabric and seal the system with a clay cap. The final step will be covering the system with topsoil. After completion a certificate of occupancy will be submitted to the owner by the County.
